🎯 “Artists of Touch” – Interview with Adelaida Doris 🙏❣️IMN’s next interview guest.Doris, a two-time Romanian-Serbian champion in the wellness and chair massage category, represents her country in the international arena with humility and passion. Her career has taken off in a short time, as massage has become not only her profession, but also a defining part of her life. Her work combines professional precision, healing energy and the inner strength that lies in every touch.1. 🌍 Which country are you from, and what does it mean to you to represent your country?🇷🇴 I come from Romania. For me, it is a great pride and happiness. I feel that by following in the footsteps of my colleagues, I am also developing – both as a person and as a therapist.2. 🛤 How did you get into the world of massage, what started this journey in you?👉I started last year. I worked for a multinational from 9 to 5, but I didn’t feel present in my daughter’s life. Massage was a real turning point for me – a spiritual experience that I immediately fell in love with.3. 💆‍♂️ Was there a defining moment when you felt: it was time to compete?👉At first, I didn’t feel ready, but my mentor, Mr. Motoc, encouraged me and helped me start the 2024 National Championship as a beginner. It was a big step, full of emotions – but in the end I still felt uplifting.4. 🎯 In which categories are you competing and why do you feel the strongest in these?👉This year I chose three categories: Wellness, Freestyle and Chair Massage. Wellness was recommended by my mentor, Freestyle is the most comfortable for me, and chair massage is part of my everyday work – this way I can give the employees a little refreshment.5. 💡 What makes your current competition program special?👉The energy and intention that I put into it at the beginning. For me, the goal is not to win, but to give my model the best possible vibration, healing and calming energy. I feel like we are all winners when we make someone else’s day better.6. ⏳ How much time and energy did you invest in preparation?👉A lot. I practiced at home, on friends and clients. In the weeks leading up to the competition, I focused a lot on the flow of movements, clothes, decor – everything that reflects me.7. 🌟 Which technique is closest to you and why?👉Therapeutic massage. This is what I feel most useful in: I can help release tension and pain. Wellness is more about energizing and relaxing, but therapeutic work is also healing.8. 🏆 What are you most proud of in your career so far?👉My clients’ feedback. When they leave with a smile and satisfaction, it gives me strength and always recharges me. 9. ❤️ How did you experience winning the wellness and chair massage category?👉Humbly. I just wanted to get feedback so that I could improve. When I heard that I won, I could hardly believe it. I am grateful to all the teachers and colleagues from whom I learned.10. 🎓📚 Was there anyone who particularly helped you in your development?👉Yes, my mentor, Mr. Motoc, and the entire team at the Academy. They stood by me from my first steps and continue to support me today.11. 🤝 What does participating in the international field and meeting other professionals mean to you?👉A huge opportunity for development. We can learn new techniques from each other, get inspired, and incorporate all this into our own work to serve our clients even better.12. 🎥 How does social media help you gain professional recognition and development?👉Today, it is the best tool to introduce yourself. I admit, I’m still learning how to use it more effectively, but I’m trying to improve in this too.13. 🚀 What are your plans after the competition?👉To work on myself – as a person and as a therapist. I believe that I can only help others if I myself am in balance.14. 💖 What advice would you give to those who are preparing for their first competition?👉Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone! A competition is always an opportunity to develop: you will either bring a medal or receive valuable feedback from the jury. Don’t procrastinate – take on yourself and discover what lies within you!🌟 Doris’s story is an inspiration to all those who are looking for their own path. Her example shows that perseverance, learning and belief in ourselves can truly move mountains. For her, massage is more than a technique – a bridge between people, a healing connection between body and soul. Behind her victories lies not only professional knowledge, but also a dedication that comes from the heart. Doris’s message is simple, yet powerful: success is not only measured in medals, but also in the way we give smiles, peace, and energy to others.#massage #championshipInternational Massage Association Tengbjerg Sundhedsuddannelser World Massage Championship Participants Canadian Massage Championships American Massage Championships World Massage Championships – Krabi Thailand World Massage Conference WMF World Massage Championship 2025 World Massage Council-WMC World Championship Massage 2025 GL-National & International Massage Championships GL- International Massage Movement INTERNATIONAL MASSAGE CHAMPIONSHIP COMPETITION (SINGAPORE) International Association of Nuad thai International Assembly of Massage Therapists and Professional Schools World Massage Championship – Manual Therapy – Nuad Thai The European College of Reflexology and Massage International Network Masseurs & Massagetherapists Massage Therapist in Europe American Competitive Massage Alliance Erica Argano Italianmassagecontest Anna Baroni – Annabel School World Massage Festival World Massage Super Cup National Massage Championship London Campionatul Național de Masaj Motoc Iulian Asociatia de Masaj si Terapii Complementare Australian Massage Championship Balkansko takmičenje masaže
