đ In our interview, he honestly talks about patriotism, preparation, inspiration and what it means to him to represent the profession as a champion.
1. đ Where are you from?
And what does representing your country mean to you?
đI am from Serbia, and for me it means responsibility, privilege, honor and pride. Every achievement is not only a personal journey, but also an opportunity to represent my country in the best possible light.
2. đ€ How did your career in the world of massage begin?
đMy journey into the world of massage began with the world of fitness. During my training, I gained in-depth knowledge about muscles, movement and how the body works. This naturally led to massage, where I was able to experience the connection with my body on a whole new level.
3. đââïž When did you decide that you wanted to compete?
đI have my fiancĂ©e to thank. She encouraged me to step forward and let others see the beauty in the way I feel and perform massage. â€ïž
4. đŻ Which category did you compete in and why did you choose it?
đI competed in the categories of Sports, Swedish, Lomi Lomi and Wellness. These give me freedom and flow – for me, massage becomes a true energy medium.
5. đĄ What is special about your competition program?
đNot only the movements, but also the preparation and the community. The way we encourage each other, share knowledge and create harmony is a special experience in itself.
6. âł How long have you been preparing for this competition?
đSince the preparation for the World Massage Federation in Sarajevo six months ago. From there, we continued, refining the techniques to present a perfect whole at the Balkan Championships.
7. đ Which technique is closest to you and why?
đThe one that gives you freedom, rhythm and flow. Let it be any style – if it has harmony of movement, that’s my favorite.
8. đ What is your greatest professional success so far?
đThis year – I won eight medals, including three overall titles: one silver and two gold. This is a milestone for me.
9. â€ïž What feelings do you want to convey with your treatments?
đReleasing tension, inner peace, meditative state and deep relaxation â all to make you feel better, more fully in your body.
10. đ đ Do you have a professional mentor who has helped you a lot on your journey?
đYes, Simona Radu Morgan. Founder, teacher and speaker of Escape Reality Academy. I trust her completely and she is an inspiration to me.
11. đ€ What experience do you have with international work?
đHuge. It is a higher level of knowledge exchange, learning, maturation and expanding professional circles.
12. đ„ How does social media help your professional development?
đA lot. I use it as a tool to achieve my goals, I collaborate with it â it is an excellent way to promote the profession.
13. đ What are your plans after the competition?
đContinue to improve, compete, become better and set an example for others.
14. đ What message do you have for those who are preparing for their first competition?
đIt’s ââokay to be disappointed at the beginning. The feeling when you stand on the podium and lift the trophy makes up for everything – in fact, it becomes motivation.
